ABOUT

I’m an Italian-Eritrean art director and creative consultant, born and raised in Genoa, now based in Milan.

As a kid, I would fall off my bike, doodle everywhere, and get lost in the pages of "I Maestri del Colore". I’d watch the sea that doesn't mind and learn the importance of certain things: homemade pesto, people’s stories, FC Inter Milan, those who remember and those who give their all. After earning an arts diploma, where I explored drawing, sculpture, painting, and other artistic pursuits, I decided to focus on product design and enrolled at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts.

For years, I commuted back and forth between Genoa and Milan, devouring books and entire discographies on perpetually delayed trains. Onboard, between Bill Evans’ music and a book by Ennio Flaiano, I discovered authors and artists who made those long journeys feel shorter and more meaningful. Since then, all I need is to discover something to remind me that I can go and stay anywhere.

Along the way, I was selected to exhibit at Milan’s Fuori Salone, designing and creating products showcased in several exhibitions. I co-founded and directed FOUR DOMINO, an independent Italian magazine dedicated to music and culture, with an in-depth approach focused on long-form articles and collaborating with artists, major labels, and independent labels. I took on the role of Art Director at Appnova, a creative agency with offices in London, New York, and Rome, managing advertising campaigns and digital projects ranging from luxury to tech.

Today, as Head of Design at Lundquist’s Creative Solutions team, I lead projects with a clear goal: to create innovative and sustainable solutions. I work with companies of all sizes, both locally and globally, always balancing strategic vision with aesthetic impact.

In recent years, I’ve expanded my professional horizons, exploring different industries and continuing to develop ideas and personal projects without giving up certain habits. Despite all that, I still find myself stumbling upon a song I’d forgotten, remembering the words that stick, and watching the sea that doesn't mind.

I still find myself sketching, getting lost in the details, and noticing what’s always been there. A bit like when I was a kid, trying to keep my balance on a bike, just following the beautiful things, because they don’t need a why.
